Biography

Alex focuses on bringing practical, cost-effective solutions to every client’s matter. He believes that good legal counsel is about helping clients make smart decisions that save time, minimize costs, and maximize outcomes from the start. Alex represents consumers in disputes involving unsafe living conditions, mold exposure, and a broad range of landlord-tenant matters. Alex speaks Spanish and also has experience practicing estate planning.

Before joining the Firm, Alex represented hundreds of clients across Texas to resolve legal disputes spanning consumer protection and real estate. He has a demonstrated ability to go up against well-resourced opponents and deliver results. For example, he once defeated a motion for summary judgment on a key consumer claim against a sophisticated property management company in arbitration.

A proud Sooner and Longhorn, Alex graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma before earning his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. In law school, he gained hands-on class action litigation experience working on a 200-worker wage and hour case, co-authored an article in the State Bar of Texas Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section Report, and built a foundation in complex property and regulatory analysis that directly informs his work representing tenants in mold litigation and pre-dispute negotiations today.
